Corporate Information Archives Officer

At our organization, we seek a meticulous and proactive professional to manage the end-to-end lifecycle of physical and digital records. This crucial role entails ensuring compliance with legal, operational, and governance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Appraise, sentence, and manage records in accordance with Public Records Office Victoria guidelines
  • Process and prepare archives for offsite storage, guaranteeing accurate tracking and retrieval
  • Support mailroom services and capture, classify, and distribute corporate records
  • Provide friendly and accurate support to staff seeking information management advice
  • Contribute to quality audits and information governance projects as required

Requirements:

  • A qualification in records management or equivalent experience is desirable
  • Working knowledge of public records legislation will be an advantage
  • Experience using electronic document and records management systems (EDRMS)
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Demonstrated experience in performing standalone functions
