
Record Management Specialist

At our organization, we seek a meticulous and proactive professional to manage the end-to-end lifecycle of physical and digital records. This crucial role entails ensuring compliance with legal, operational, and governance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Appraise, sentence, and manage records in accordance with Public Records Office Victoria guidelines
- Process and prepare archives for offsite storage, guaranteeing accurate tracking and retrieval
- Support mailroom services and capture, classify, and distribute corporate records
- Provide friendly and accurate support to staff seeking information management advice
- Contribute to quality audits and information governance projects as required
Requirements:
- A qualification in records management or equivalent experience is desirable
- Working knowledge of public records legislation will be an advantage
- Experience using electronic document and records management systems (EDRMS)
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Demonstrated experience in performing standalone functions
