School Student Coordinator RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to fill the role of Senior School Student Coordinator. This position offers a unique opportunity for an educator who is passionate about student learning and wellbeing to make a positive impact at our institution.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing academic guidance and support to students, as well as working closely with the Deputy Head to ensure that student wellbeing programs are planned, documented, and reviewed. They will also be expected to lead and coordinate student support meetings, attend regular student wellbeing meetings with the Deputy Head/Head of School, and organise orientation and transition programs for current and new students into Senior School.
- This role requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills, a demonstrated commitment to student learning and wellbeing, effective planning and organisational skills, and proven competence with the use of technology in a learning environment.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the SEAS (Special Entry Access Scheme) and be able to provide counsel on the three course structures offered in the Senior School (VCE, IB, and VCE VET). They will also have a current knowledge of House activities and be able to foster House spirit through involvement in House activities.
As a member of the Senior School Executive team, the successful candidate will be expected to maintain confidentiality, adhere to all College policies, and demonstrate behaviours in accordance with the Child Safe Standards.
