Ambitious Academic Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as an Ambitious Academic Support Specialist. This role is designed to provide academic support to students seeking entry into Victoria's most prestigious schools.
Key Responsibilities:- Weekly Group Classes – Lead engaging 2-hour Select Entry classes for small groups of 6-12 students across Years 6-8, covering Mathematics (Reasoning / Quantitative subtests), English (Reading / Verbal subtests), and Writing (Creative / Persuasive subtests).
- Writing Feedback – Provide prompt and targeted feedback on student submissions.
- One-on-One Tutoring Sessions – Offer personalized tutoring to help students with specific questions and reinforce topics they're struggling with.
- Text-Based Student Support – Respond to student queries via our messaging platform, offering guidance on exam preparation and study strategies.
- Team Collaboration & Training – Participate in team meetings, complete initial training, and assist with basic resource review to maintain program quality.
- Academic Excellence – Attended a Victorian selective school or achieved high academic results.
- Tutoring Experience – Relevant tutoring or mentoring experience with younger students, demonstrating passion for education and student development.
- Ability to commit for the full academic year (no long absences)
- Willingness to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) to protect resources
- Able to travel to campus locations
- Genuine desire to help students reach their potential
