Financial Operations Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Billing Officer to join our team for an immediate start. The role is responsible for managing customer billing, developing and maintaining annual billing schedules, completing financial obligations, and ensuring accurate reconciliations.
The ideal candidate will have a background in billing/accounts, excellent analytical skills, Microsoft proficiency, and the ability to communicate effectively. They will also possess strong attention to detail, prioritization skills, and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Job Responsibilities:
- Support timely and accurate customer billing/sundry billing
- Develop and maintain an annual billing schedule for all specialist billed accounts
- Completing financial obligations and adhering to audit requirements
- Reconciliations are completed, errors investigated and resolved by the monthly due dates
- Bill intercepts (manual and online) are completed weekly
- Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Billing/Accounts background desirable
- Ability to analyze information
- Microsoft skills - ability to quickly learn new systems
- Excellent communication skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to prioritize workload and consistently meet deadlines
- Demonstrable ability to understand and interpret appropriate Acts, regulations and policies
- Possess a continuous improvement mindset
