Care and Support Specialist
">This is a pivotal role that provides care and support for young people with complex behavioural and support needs in our Intensive Therapeutic Care (ITC) service. You will be responsible for supervising daily operations, ensuring a safe environment, collaborating with specialists to facilitate care plans, and enhancing developmental outcomes through various activities.
">About the Role:
">- Supervise day-to-day ITC home operations.
- Collaborate with Therapeutic Specialist and ITC Case Manager to implement care plans.
- Ensure physical environment promotes healing and safety.
- Enhance developmental outcomes through cultural, social, and therapeutic experiences.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
">- Bachelor's degree in social work, Psychology, or related discipline OR Diploma of Community Services with ongoing undergraduate studies.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in Permanency Support Program (Out of Home Care).
- Demonstrated experience in culturally strengths-based practice with Aboriginal people, families, and communities.
