Job Title: Senior Manager

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing, overseeing and managing the service delivery across a range of programs. This includes program development, staff management, regulatory compliance, and the delivery of high-quality therapeutic care and support to children and young people, their carers and families.

The role requires working within our Therapeutic Services program to ensure that the children and young people receive healing therapeutic care in line with our unique therapeutic care practice model.

Additional responsibilities include managing an after-hours on-call component, reflecting the 24/7 nature of the care we provide.

About You:

  • An appropriate tertiary qualification such as Social Work or Psychology is required.
  • Significant leadership experience in the community services sector in areas such as child protection, youth services etc., is essential.
  • Extensive experience in program development, monitoring and evaluation is necessary.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, coach and mentor a team using contemporary leadership and management approaches is required.
  • Sound interpersonal skills, including demonstrated capacity to negotiate sensitive and complex issues with specific expertise in conflict resolution are needed.
  • Sound understanding of trauma transformative practice is essential.
  • A flexible collaborative approach, building strong relationships with diverse stakeholders is required.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure is necessary.
  • Exceptional organisational and time management skills, fostering both independent and collaborative work within a team structure are required.
