APS5 Quality Officer

The Federal Government organisation seeks a skilled professional to support its mission of enhancing the lives of Australians.

  • Undertake moderately complex to complex compliance activities and work, providing policy advice within an area of specialisation.

The APS5 Quality Officer will be responsible for:

  1. Reviewing and updating compliance processes, SOPs and taskcards in line with changes to policies and coordinating system change requests.
  2. Generating reports from the Case Management System for workload management, prioritisation and executive updates.
  3. Conducting analysis and reporting to identify issues and drive continuous business improvement, through the development of tools, resources and/or processes.
  4. Preparing briefing materials, correspondence, reports, and other products for senior executives and industry stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include working in an open office environment, occasional remote work, hot desk arrangement, significant periods of sitting, computer/screen-based work, and operating a telephone. Essential checks/clearances include a Working with Children Check, Agency Worker Screening Check, and Australian Government Security Vetting Agency (AGSVA) clearance.

To be successful, applicants must hold Australian Citizenship and may be required to provide evidence of COVID-19 vaccination status.
