Job Title: Change Manager

We are seeking an experienced Change Manager to lead key change projects on a large scale across the Department of Health.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in change management, with experience in facilitating positive workplace change and building change management capability across complex organisations.

The role involves managing and overseeing the full life cycle of change projects, including leading research, analysis and implementation of complex projects based on defined outcomes and outputs.

The successful candidate will also provide leadership, guidance and authoritative advice to influence internal and external stakeholders and key sponsors; prepare and present detailed, comprehensive reports and change proposals and associated documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the full life cycle of change projects to meet departmental objectives
  • Provide leadership, guidance and authoritative advice to influence internal and external stakeholders and key sponsors
  • Prepare and present detailed, comprehensive reports and change proposals and associated documentation
  • Work with business partners to oversee, monitor and deliver projects, ensuring they are delivered in accordance with relevant legislation, government and department regulations and guidelines

Requirements:

  • A change specialist who can facilitate positive workplace change and is experienced in building change management capability across complex organisations
  • Excellent organisational skills and experience working in a fast-paced and demanding environment with a capacity to prioritise, multi-task, achieve business goals, perform and always work with a customer focused approach
