**Job Description**:
**Your New Role**
As a trusted adviser to our clients and our management team within Leidos, the Operational Change Manager (OCM) will play a key role in the success of our customer's organisational change, supporting changes to business processes, technologies, and systems. This role will support a new project that is currently being stood up, and as such you will be instrumental in ensuring that the change being undertaken is successful.
Key responsibilities for this role include:
- Develop the Project change management to ensure that it acknowledges the different aspects of the change process: analysis, plan, implementation, communication, and other associated change considerations: including a communication strategy.
- Prepare impact analyses and evaluation of actual impact of changes, assess change readiness, and identify key stakeholders.
- Work with the both the customer and internal teams to support organisational design and definition of roles and responsibilities.
- Support the design, development, delivery, and management of communications relevant to change initiatives.
- Capture data, define and measure success metrics, and design methodologies for integrating these into the project's delivery:
- Develop and maintain ongoing project stakeholder communication plan;
- Support the customer team in maintaining a stakeholder communication plan;
- Maintain/support, manage, and execute Communication Plan(s) as defined in the Communications Strategy, with input from key stakeholders.
- Support the customer team to plan and implement effective stakeholder engagement actions, to drive understanding amongst key influential stakeholders and business leaders, and to influence positive acceptance of change across the business.
- Champion change capability development within impacted groups, and coach and prepare business leaders, and people in key positions for their role in supporting individuals and their teams through change.
- Provide support and coaching advice to execs and people managers to help them instil change within their teams, as well as directly supporting project teams during the transition period.
**Qualifications**:
**Knowledge**
- Experience with change and communication activities on large scale technology transformation projects (preferably for Government).
- Formal qualifications in Change Management, Communications or related field.
- Experience in managing stakeholder expectations, at an all levels.
**Skills**
- Demonstrated ability to consistently produce excellent results in a complex environment;
- Ability to lead, monitor and supervise;
- Creation/Execution of Change Management and Communications plans;
- Conduct Business Impact Assessments and undertake stakeholder analysis;
- Develop and manage a range of stakeholder engagement and business readiness activities;
- Ability to produce professional presentations, user guides, quick reference guides to support transition activities;
- Sound facilitation skills for a diverse set of stakeholders across all levels;
- Design a change management plan;
- Define future state, outcomes and results;
- Evaluate mid and long term results;
- Building change management practices to assist your organisation to manage and lead through this change is critical;
- Stabilise the change.
