About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior ICT Account Manager to join our growing NSW team. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and maintaining lists of new prospective clients in NSW, acquiring knowledge of competitors' ICT services, and building and maintaining strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.

  • Develop and maintain lists of new prospective clients in NSW using LinkedIn, referrals, networking, and other sources.
  • Acquire knowledge of competitors' ICT services and market trends to better serve client needs.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients to identify and act on selling opportunities.
  • Check-in with customers regularly to ensure satisfaction with the work being carried out, and delivering an outstanding experience.
  • Meet clients regularly to understand their ICT requirements, assess needs, and present suitable ICT solutions aligned with their business objectives.
  • Collaborate with the consulting team to monitor and ensure the delivery and performance of ICT solutions and services meet the clients' expectations.
  • Respond to requests for proposals (RFPs), request for tender (RFTs), and request for quotation (RFQs).
  • Quoting and negotiating rates and completing service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Utilize the business CRM (Salesforce) to prepare sales reports, and maintain client records.
  • Report to the NSW general manager on new client prospects, sales made, and client updates.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in ICT Account Management or Business Development.
  • Strong relationship building and networking abilities.
  • A consultative approach to understanding clients' needs and defining innovative solutions.
  • Ability to understand client needs and manage large accounts.
  • An ability to proactively build a pipeline of business.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • A team-oriented, collegiate, and proactive working style.
  • Previous experience in Business Consulting, IT Project Services, or Contract Recruitment in large accounts would be highly regarded.
  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Business or equivalent.
