About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Specialist to join our team at EBR. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in the foreign exchange market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and evaluate business opportunities by sourcing prospects and analyzing their foreign exchange needs.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to target key markets and clients.
  • Sell client solutions using a consultative approach, understanding client needs and presenting tailored solutions.
  • Manage client onboarding and handover processes to ensure seamless customer experience.
  • Report sales numbers and performance metrics to Regional Manager and team.
  • Adhere to performance criteria outlined in Sales Scorecards and ensure all internal processes are followed.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing industry publications.
Requirements
  • University or College degree required.
  • Substantiated interest in FX services and products, the foreign exchange markets, and the SME business sector.
  • Previous outbound business-to-business phone marketing or sales experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to navigate corporate structures to identify decision makers.
  • High degree of self-motivation and focus, combined with effective organizational and time management skills.
  • Professional approach to prospective clients coupled with active listening skills and an inquisitive nature.
  • Ability to work as a team player towards a specific sales goal.
  • Well-versed in the usage of Microsoft Office products, Excel databases, and CRM systems.
