Job Description

We are seeking a Resource Recovery Solutions Expert to support our business in identifying existing and developing resource recovery solutions for our diverse customer base. This role involves conducting thorough reviews of available resource recovery solutions, staying up-to-date with new innovations and market entrants, and collaborating with our teams to implement bespoke solutions for each customer's needs.

This position plays a critical role in helping us establish ourselves as leaders in the provision of best-in-class waste management solutions in the Australian waste industry.

Main Responsibilities
  • Support the business in maximizing resource recovery and circular economy opportunities for our customers.
  • Identify and develop resource recovery solutions for our national customer base, including staying current with new technologies and market trends.
  • Utilize research and analytical skills, combined with knowledge of waste types and treatment processes.
  • Maintain commercial relationships and determine potential partnerships for R&D opportunities.
  • Determine potential to partner in R&D opportunities and other innovation to address gaps in recovery solutions for significant waste streams.
Key Qualifications and Skills

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Environmental Science, Sustainability, or related fields.
  • A demonstrated interest in sustainability, resource recovery, and the circular economy.
  • A minimum of 10 years' experience in waste management, resource recovery, and/or circular economy areas.
  • Strong research, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Commercial acumen to assess commercial benefits and understand customer needs.
  • Ability to understand technical aspects of CERRWM solutions.
