We are seeking a dedicated professional to serve as a key liaison between our customer-facing and operational teams. This strategic position will focus on identifying existing and developing resource recovery solutions for our diverse national customer base.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the business in maximizing resource recovery and circular economy opportunities for customers to achieve their diversion outcomes.
- Identify and develop resource recovery solutions for our diverse customer base, including staying up-to-date with new innovations and market entrants.
- Utilize strong research and analytical skills, supported by technical knowledge of waste types and resource recovery treatment processes.
- Develop and maintain commercial relationships.
- Determine potential partnerships in R&D opportunities and innovation to address current gaps in recovery solutions for significant waste streams.
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualifications in Environmental Science, Sustainability, or relevant fields desirable.
- Demonstrated interest in sustainability, resource recovery, and the circular economy.
- Minimum ten years' experience within waste management, resource recovery, and/or circular economy areas.
- Strong research, communication, and presentation skills.
- A level of commercial acumen to undertake high-level assessments of commercial benefits and understand how to accommodate customer needs.
