Civil supervisors play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful execution of construction projects. As a senior civil supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the coordination and supervision of construction activities, including safety, quality, environment, community, subcontractor relations, and financial tracking.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Leading and managing a team and subcontractors to achieve project objectives.
  • E nsuring workers implement control measures to minimize risk to health and safety of themselves and others.
  • Collaborating with project engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Mentoring, coaching, and upskilling the team and other supervisors across the project.
  • Planning, calculating, and monitoring daily costs of resources to optimize budget utilization.
  • Working towards achieving target budgets through effective cost management.
  • L eading a culture of safety and productivity within the team.
  • Conducting toolbox talks and pre-start meetings to enhance knowledge sharing and collaboration.
  • H aving a working knowledge of plant capability and selecting appropriate equipment for required tasks.

**Requirements:**

  • Experience in the civil sector or relevant trades qualification.
  • Able to motivate and lead a team from the front, demonstrate initiative, and exude energy while at work.
  • Relevant trades qualification in the construction, building, or manufacturing industries.
  • Must have held a position as Foreman or Supervisor.
  • Sound knowledge of the designated project – previous experience on bridges is desirable.
  • Good leadership skills.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
