Lead Specialist in Procurement and Supply Chain Enhancements

Position Overview
As the Team Leader for Procurement and Supply Chain Continuous Improvement Projects, you will oversee a dedicated team of project managers, ensuring the effective execution of initiatives within established timelines, budgets, and quality benchmarks. The successful candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of Procurement and Supply Chain operations, along with a robust background in project management or consulting within these domains.
Your Responsibilities Include:
- Identifying, prioritizing, structuring, and addressing complex business challenges through analytical insights and collaboration with market stakeholders.
- Leading the development and execution of strategic cost-saving and transformation initiatives within Procurement and Supply Chain.
- Implementing quality enhancement and waste reduction projects across an international supply chain network.
- Conducting process evaluations at distribution centers and supplier locations to ensure compliance with company standards and waste reduction targets.
- Designing and deploying process, system, and tool enhancements aimed at achieving key performance indicators.
- Fostering a collaborative approach within the procurement community to support international category managers.
- Standardizing sourcing and supply chain processes to optimize product handling and minimize food surplus.
- Driving ongoing improvements in methods, systems, and tools to enhance operational capacity and efficiency.
- Promoting the use of automation and innovative practices in project documentation to ensure successful project outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business.
- Over 7 years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or continuous improvement within a fast-paced environment, preferably in consumer-focused industries.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in lean methodologies, problem-solving techniques, and complex project structuring.
- Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent certification is advantageous.
- Exceptional analytical and operational modeling skills linked to strategic thinking.
- Proven ability to implement metrics that enhance efficiency, assess performance, and reduce costs, coupled with a proactive approach.
