Key Responsibilities
  • Project Leadership: Lead and manage a team of project managers to deliver projects within agreed timelines, budget, and quality standards.
  • Procurement and Supply Chain Process Improvement: Identify, prioritize, structure, and solve complex business problems using analytics and business judgment with market stakeholders.
  • Strategic Cost Reduction and Transformation: Define and lead implementation of strategic cost reduction and transformation projects in Procurement and Supply Chain.
  • Error and Waste Reduction: Define and lead implementation of error (quality improvement, supply assurance) and waste reduction projects and initiatives in an international supply chain.
  • Process Reviews and Improvements: Lead process reviews at our distribution centers and suppliers, and hold accountable for meeting HelloFresh specifications and waste targets.
  • Process, System, and Tool Improvements: Design, iterate, and rollout process, system, and tool improvements that will achieve KPI targets.
  • Task-Force Approach and Spirit: Create a task-force approach and spirit within the procurement community to provide execution support to our international category managers.
  • Benchmarking and Best Practice Exchange: Benchmarking, best practice exchange, and standardization of sourcing & supply chain processes to optimize handling, ensure products meet quality standards, and minimize food surplus.
  • Continuous Improvement of Methods, Systems, and Tools: Manage continuous improvement of methods, systems, and tools that will help our operations teams to manage capacity on an ongoing basis and deliver higher process efficiency.
  • Automation and Innovation: Drive the implementation and use of automation and innovation in project documentation to support flawless project deliverables.
Requirements
  • Education: Degree in Engineering or Business.
  • Experience: 7+ years of experience within procurement, supply chain management, and/or continuous improvement in operations or in a top-tier consulting company, complemented by international multi-project management in a fast-paced environment gained in consumer-driven industries.
  • Skills: Solid competency in data analysis, lean methods, problem-solving techniques, root cause analysis, and structuring of complex improvement projects.
  • Qualifications: Six sigma green belt or similar qualification is a plus.
  • Analytical and Operational Skills: Superior analytical skills and operational modeling capabilities connected to strategic thinking.
  • Metrics and Performance: Demonstrated ability to enforce metrics that drive efficiency, measure performance, and reduce costs, combined with a good sense of hands-on mentality.
