Palliative Care Registered Nurse Role

We are seeking an experienced Palliative Care Registered Nurse to join our highly dedicated team at a renowned healthcare facility. This is a casual role requiring an RN3 or above with a minimum of two years post-graduate experience and working towards a post-graduate palliative care qualification.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and advice to patients with palliative care needs, working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional patient care and support to individuals with palliative care needs.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of effective care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring seamless communication among healthcare professionals.
Requirements
  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.
  • Experience working in the specialty area of palliative care in an inpatient setting or community is highly desirable.
