Service Coordinator for Home Care Services

About the role:
As a Service Coordinator for Home Care Services, you will play a vital role in planning and coordinating our in-home care services and workers across a large geographical region. You will be the key link between our customers and the field workers, ensuring that we are delivering on our promises.
The ideal candidate will have experience in high-volume service coordination environments and possess strong problem-solving skills to quickly address last-minute changes to schedules. This role involves working closely with other teams to ensure services are coordinated effectively.
Key responsibilities include:
- Ensuring rosters align with SCHADs Award compliances
- Optimising Home Care Worker rosters for maximum efficiency
- Matching customer service requirements against field team skills and experience
- Problem-solving and influencing field team members to deliver services
This is a full-time permanent position, and while there may be opportunities to work from home, occasional visits to KinCare offices may be required.
About you:
- Demonstrated experience in rostering/scheduling/logistics methodologies across multiple locations
- Strong phone manner and ability to remain calm under pressure
- Positive attitude, customer service focus, and ability to think on your feet
- Experience engaging with stakeholders at all levels and effective communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and juggle multiple priorities
- Prior experience with Skedulo or similar rostering systems is an asset
