Care Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled Scheduler to join our team at KinCare, where you will play a vital role in ensuring the seamless delivery of our home care services to our valued customers.
As a Scheduler, you will be responsible for scheduling home care services and planning rosters for our care workers across a large geographical region. You will be the key link between our customers and care workers, maintaining regular phone communication to ensure optimisation and fulfilment of our services.
Key responsibilities include:
- Ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements, including the SCHADs Award
- Maximising the efficiency of our care worker rosters, ensuring optimal resource allocation
- Matching care workers to appropriate services based on their skill set
- Swiftly resolving last-minute changes to schedules by leveraging effective communication and influencing skills
- Collaborating with other teams to ensure efficient and effective service coordination
- Proactively identifying recruitment needs within your allocated region
This full-time permanent position offers remote work flexibility, although occasional travel to our office may be required. We prefer Sydney-based candidates, but exceptional applicants with strong experience from other locations will be considered.
About You:We are looking for a candidate with:
- Demonstrated experience in workforce planning, preferably within a service delivery environment, across multiple locations
- A strong phone manner and ability to remain calm and professional at all times
- A positive attitude and customer service focus
- Ability to problem solve and think on your feet
- Demonstrated experience with engaging with stakeholders at all levels
- Strong communication and influencing skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
- Previous experience with Salesforce, Skedulo or other rostering systems is preferred
