Our organization is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead the financial planning and analysis function. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and analysing consolidated financial statements, providing strategic financial insights to support business decisions, managing budgeting and forecasting processes, implementing financial systems and process improvements, and collaborating with internal and external auditors.

  • Key Responsibilities:

    • Prepare and analyse consolidated financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

    • Provide strategic financial insights to support business decisions, including scenario planning, budgeting, and forecasting.

    • Manage budgeting and forecasting processes, including developing and maintaining budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses.

    • Implement financial systems and process improvements, including automating financial processes, streamlining accounting procedures, and enhancing financial reporting.

    • Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

">Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a tertiary qualification in accounting, proven expertise in financial reporting and analysis within complex organisations, strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulatory frameworks, exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, advanced proficiency in financial systems and reporting tools, and effective communication skills to engage with senior stakeholders.

  • Qualifications:

    • Tertiary qualification in accounting or a related field.

    • Professional certifications, such as CPA or CFA.

  • Skills:

    • Proven expertise in financial reporting and analysis within complex organisations.

    • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulatory frameworks.

    • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
