Financial Analyst - Data Insights

This is a dynamic and challenging role that involves the development of financial models, forecasts, and budgets to support strategic decision-making. The successful candidate will work closely with various departments to ensure financial goals are met and risks are managed efficiently.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage robust financial models, forecasts, and budgets to support strategic decision-making.
  • Continuously monitor financial performance against targets, analysing variances and identifying key drivers.
  • Prepare and deliver comprehensive financial reports and analyses to senior management, clearly communicating trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate monthly accounts for overhead departments, identifying and recommending cost control measures to enhance efficiency.
  • Drive continuous improvement in financial processes and systems to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and automation where possible.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and internal financial policies, implementing and monitoring controls to maintain the integrity and accuracy of financial data.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in finance analyst role.
  • Bachelor's degree plus professional qualification/postgraduate studies in Finance.
  • Advanced Excel, reporting, and analysis skills essential.
  • Strong stakeholder management, influencing, and business partnering skills.
  • Exceptional written, verbal communication, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a strong ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial analysis and reporting.
  • Experience with financial software and ERP systems.
  • Tableau or Power BI experience preferable.
