A leading professional is sought to take on a key leadership role in financial planning and analysis.

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced finance leader to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in financial planning and analysis, with a proven track record of success in a similar role. They will be responsible for analyzing and tracking costs associated with large-scale projects, providing insights to improve cost-efficiency and informed decision-making. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.

The Financial Planning and Analysis Lead will work closely with other departments to develop cost standards and assist in budgeting and forecasting. They will also provide strategic financial guidance to the project leadership team, supporting decision-making through scenario analysis, business case evaluations, and performance insights.

In addition to their technical skills, the successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial information to senior management and joint venture partners.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, the candidate will need:

  • Bachelor of Science or higher in Engineering, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or another related field.
  • Demonstrated software proficiency with a range of applications such as Microsoft Office Suite, SAP, etc.
  • At least five years' experience working with large projects and/or operations (mining, oil and gas or similar).
