We are an agricultural institution with a rich history dating back to 1889. Throughout our existence, we have been synonymous with delivering high-quality education and training in agriculture.

Our college provides on-campus accommodation, attracts students from across the country, and runs a commercial farm as well as indoor/outdoor training facilities and conference centres.

Reporting to the CEO, this is a rare opportunity to join a highly regarded institution that has undergone significant change in recent years.

As the leader, you will be responsible for driving our success through partnerships, marketing, increasing student numbers, and promoting our institution as a progressive educational body while being at the forefront of new farming technologies and opportunities.

You will work closely with the leadership team to develop a curriculum that integrates practical agricultural training with accredited courses and delivery, creating a point of difference from other institutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive our success through partnerships, marketing, increasing student numbers, and promoting our institution as a progressive educational body.
  • Develop a curriculum that integrates practical agricultural training with accredited courses and delivery.
  • Work closely with the Leadership Team and broader teams to achieve our goals.
  • Provide leadership and direction in the operations of the College to ensure its growth and point of difference in offerings.

  • A deep understanding of agriculture and education and training.
  • A passionate approach to creating a high-performing team and culture.
  • Strong business acumen and commercially astute.
  • Collaborative skills and ability to work alongside the Leadership Team and broader teams.

In addition, you will have:

  • Relevant qualifications in education, business or agriculture.
  • A minimum of 5 years management experience.
