Risk Management Specialist

As a Risk Management Specialist, you will play a critical role in the evolution of Macquarie's Fraud Risk Management Framework. Your responsibilities will include:
- Uplifting and communicating fraud policies to ensure effective risk management across the group.
- Determining clear principles and oversight metrics to measure the effectiveness of fraud policies.
- Providing independent review and challenge of fraud risk and control self-assessments to ensure they reflect the risk profile of the businesses.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience in risk management within a financial institution and/or professional services firm, ideally with fraud risk management practices exposure.
- Tenacious and agile, with a proven ability to sustain high levels of performance in a fast-paced, output-focused environment.
- An analytical and lateral thinker with a positive and constructive approach to problem-solving.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail with the ability to multitask, present new ideas, and work both independently and collaboratively.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, able to engage with a diverse set of stakeholders and build effective working relationships.
About the Risk Management Group
The Risk Management Group is an independent, centralized function responsible for independent and objective review and challenge, oversight, monitoring, and reporting in relation to Macquarie's material risks. Our divisions include Compliance, Credit, Financial Crime Risk, Internal Audit, Market Risk, Operational Risk, Prudential Risk, and Risk Management Group Central.
