About this role

This is a newly created position within our supply chain team. It will focus on delivering procurement outcomes across operational and corporate portfolios.

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end sourcing activities, including market analysis, RFx development, supplier evaluations, and recommendations.
  • Coordinate supplier engagement and performance to ensure timely delivery, competitive quotations, and risk-aware decision-making.
  • Administer procurement processes in SAP/Ariba to ensure commercial accuracy and alignment with procurement strategy and policy.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure contract compliance, commercial alignment, and lifecycle optimisation.
  • Contribute to procurement improvement initiatives, including system enhancements, compliance reporting, and supply chain risk management.

What we're looking for

  • Certificate IV or higher in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business, or a relevant discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in procurement, purchasing, or logistics, ideally within utilities, infrastructure, or industrial sectors.
  • Strong working knowledge of SAP and/or Ariba, with excellent attention to detail and commercial accuracy.
  • Effective stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across operational and corporate teams.
  • A proactive and organised approach, with strong negotiation skills and a commitment to continuous improvement and risk-aware decision-making.
