Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a skilled procurement specialist to fulfill key purchasing and logistics responsibilities.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Administer transactional purchasing activities according to established company policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and provide timely solutions.
  • Create and manage purchase requisitions and orders based on department requirements, ensuring efficient processing and approvals.
  • Liaise with suppliers regarding quotations, deliveries, and corrective actions around delivery issues and invoice discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate and organized procurement records, including contracts, purchase orders, and supplier information.
  • Contribute to the improvement of purchasing processes.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • 2+ years' experience as a procurement officer or in a similar administrative position.
  • Knowledge of purchasing practices and procedures.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel applications.
  • Data entry and management skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Formal qualification in business administration is highly regarded.
