Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a skilled procurement specialist to fulfill key purchasing and logistics responsibilities.
Main Responsibilities:
- Administer transactional purchasing activities according to established company policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and provide timely solutions.
- Create and manage purchase requisitions and orders based on department requirements, ensuring efficient processing and approvals.
- Liaise with suppliers regarding quotations, deliveries, and corrective actions around delivery issues and invoice discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate and organized procurement records, including contracts, purchase orders, and supplier information.
- Contribute to the improvement of purchasing processes.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- 2+ years' experience as a procurement officer or in a similar administrative position.
- Knowledge of purchasing practices and procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel applications.
- Data entry and management skills.
- Excellent customer service skills with internal and external stakeholders.
- Formal qualification in business administration is highly regarded.
