
Procurement Specialist

The Procurement Specialist is a newly created opportunity in our Supply Chain team based at our Perth Central Park office.
This role plays a pivotal part in delivering compliant, value-driven procurement outcomes across our operational and corporate portfolios.
Responsible for sourcing goods and services, the Procurement Specialist will lead end-to-end procurement activities including market engagement, supplier evaluation, and stakeholder coordination.
- Manage end-to-end sourcing activities for goods and services, including market analysis, RFx development, supplier evaluations, and recommendations.
- Coordinate supplier engagement and performance, ensuring timely delivery, competitive quotations, and risk-aware decision-making to support operational continuity.
- Administer procurement processes in SAP/Ariba, ensuring commercial accuracy and alignment with procurement strategy and policy.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as Category Managers and Contract Owners to ensure contract compliance, commercial alignment, and lifecycle optimisation.
- Contribute to procurement improvement initiatives, including system enhancements, compliance reporting, and supply chain risk management.
- Certificate IV or higher in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business, or a relevant discipline.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in procurement, purchasing, or logistics, ideally within utilities, infrastructure, or industrial sectors.
- Strong working knowledge of SAP and/or Ariba, with excellent attention to detail and commercial accuracy.
- Effective stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across operational and corporate teams.
- A proactive and organised approach, with strong negotiation skills and a commitment to continuous improvement and risk-aware decision-making.
