Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Customer Relationship Manager to join our team at 309 FLSmidth Pty. Ltd. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with our customers, driving business growth and development, and leading point of contact for key customer matters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Relationship Management: Develop a solid and trusting relationship between assigned customer portfolio and FLSmidth.
  • Contract Negotiation: Negotiate performance-based contracts and maintenance of ongoing contract terms, conditions, and performance.
  • Business Development: Drive the FLSmidth ESG agenda with a focus on new technologies and develop a comprehensive understanding of assigned customer portfolio requirements.
  • Performance Analytics: Conduct SQDC performance analytics, reporting, and improvement for contracted items for assigned customer portfolios.
  • Forecasting: Lead the 180-day forecasting process for contracted items gaining sign-off from assigned customer portfolio with Central Procurement.
  • Order Management: Oversight and management of the rolling 30-day order placement and execution activities.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present monthly reporting SLA's, both F2F and online.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Facilitate cross-functional collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Warranty and Service Support: Review and, where required, facilitate the resolution of warranty and service support.
Requirements
  • Experience: Recent experience as a Contracts Manager or equivalent role.
  • Skills: Skilled in stakeholder engagement with a strong customer service attitude, ability to interpret and comprehend commercial contract terms and conditions, and strong ability to negotiate tactics and planning.
  • Education: Good understanding of Supply Chain processes and principles, sound understanding of Trade Practice Law and requirements as required.
  • Personal Qualities: Ability to influence and persuade internal and external stakeholders, ability to interpret and comprehend basic financial data, and ability to work in a team or individually on multiple concurrent projects.
