Key Role Overview:

The Ranging Insights Analyst role is a vital position within the Merchandising team, supporting the delivery of the signature 'Picked By You' range requested by customers and operations.

This role provides insights to Metro Category Managers, ensuring ranging decisions are timely, commercially viable and do not erode planogram integrity or operational metrics.

Responsibilities include ensuring store and customer requests are actioned within our target SLA of 48 - 72 hrs, engaging stakeholders in the process, and providing category managers and store teams with insights (such as dashboards) based on the performance of Picked By You lines ranged to their store/category.

The ideal candidate will have cross-functional stakeholder management skills, data analysis and interpretation experience, commercial acumen and problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure timely and commercially viable ranging decisions for the 'Picked By You' range.
  • Provide insights and data analysis to support decision-making.
  • Engage with stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of tasks.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with category managers and store teams.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators.
  • Collaborate with Milkrun to establish ranging opportunities aligned to Picked By You initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in data analysis and interpretation.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Cross-functional stakeholder management experience.
  • Commercial acumen and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with SAP and BY systems preferred but not essential.
