Service Desk Specialist

The RoleWe are seeking a Service Desk Specialist to join our Cinema Technology Group, located in the heart of George St. This role will provide support across all functional areas of IT, including infrastructure, application support, networks, call handling, troubleshooting, technical administration, and office support.
Key Responsibilities- Troubleshoot and solve hardware and software issues, including PCs/Laptops, POS terminals, servers, kiosks, and network equipment.
- Install, repair, and service HOYTS devices using appropriate tools.
- Provide support to HOYTS locations and clients, responding to logged tickets efficiently.
- Train internal teams in the use of business systems, networks, and applications.
- Respond to urgent after-hours queries, providing troubleshooting support in a timely manner.
- Build and maintain relationships with customers and third-party vendors.
- Experience in hardware, computer software, service infrastructure, and enterprise applications.
- Qualification in IT or a related degree is desirable.
- Prioritizing goals, delivering key outcomes, and having a technical mind.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Self-motivation and the ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
- Experience in building and sustaining positive relationships with diverse stakeholders.
