Financial Support Specialist

The role of a Financial Support Specialist is crucial in facilitating the financial activities of the team.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily banking and petty cash transactions
  • Regularly update and maintain the fixed asset register
  • Assist in vehicle management and controls
  • Petty cash control and banking services
  • Control and management of food and transportation vouchers
  • Bond administration, monitoring, and processing
  • Maintain procedures and prepare documentation
  • Support in monthly reconciliations

About You:

  • Hold an accounting qualification or higher
  • Demonstrated relevant experience, including proficiency in accounting/financial systems

Key Requirements:

  • Previous accounting and finance experience
  • Able to produce accurate and timely financial records and reports
  • Strong organisational, prioritisation, and attention to detail skills
  • Strong decision making, problem solving, and analytical skills
  • Excellent customer service focus
  • Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to work within a team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and highly developed interpersonal skills
