
Experienced Payroll Administrator Wanted

We are seeking an experienced payroll administrator to join our team on a part-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for the timely and accurate processing, reconciliation and payment of fortnightly payroll, superannuation, employment-related taxation, and salary packaging for all staff and supported employees.
Reporting to the HR Manager, this role requires experience with payroll systems, ideally Employment Hero or similar single-touch payroll systems. The ideal candidate will be proactive and show initiative for all tasks, comfortable working with minimal supervision, and knowledgeable of general payroll practices, procedures, operations and legislation.
The role involves administration for payroll but also general HR admin to ensure all data and details are current. The successful candidate will also support senior executives with their day-to-day operations, including anticipating needs, and participate in and manage payroll, HR and OH&S audit requirements where required.
Key responsibilities include:
- Fortnightly payroll processing for up to 250 individuals
- Payroll system maintenance and updates
- General HR administration to ensure data accuracy
- Supporting senior executives with day-to-day operations
- Participating in and managing payroll, HR and OH&S audits
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Experience with payroll systems, ideally Employment Hero or similar
- Proactivity and initiative in completing tasks
- Knowledge of general payroll practices, procedures, operations and legislation
- Comprehensive understanding of Modern Awards for the industry
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
