We are seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join our team on a part-time permanent basis.
- The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of end-to-end payroll experience, with the ability to process pay runs for over 300 employees.
- They will be experienced in using larger payroll systems and have a strong understanding of awards and EBAs.
- A passion for payroll and a desire to learn and grow their skills is essential.
This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic organization and contribute to the success of our team.
You will be responsible for:
- Processing end-to-end payroll across weekly, fortnightly, and monthly pay runs;
- Facilitating payroll adjustments for salary increments, setting up new hires, calculation and processing of termination payments and other deductions;
- Assisting with month-end processes and reconciliations, including information for superannuation, payroll tax, and workcover payments;
- Attending to payroll queries in a timely manner and assisting with any payroll projects that are happening in the payroll department;
- Providing timely, accurate payroll advice and support to employees and managers.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 2-4 years of end-to-end payroll experience;
- Experience processing pay runs of over 300 employees;
- Experience using larger payroll systems;
- A strong understanding of awards and EBAs;
- A passion for payroll and a desire to learn and grow your skills.
