About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Engineer to join our team in Victoria. As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for mentoring a team of civil engineers and collaborating with colleagues to deliver technically accurate and cost-effective designs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Mentor a team of civil engineers to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver high-quality projects.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share knowledge and best practices, and to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Design and deliver civil engineering projects, including roads, stormwater drainage, and other infrastructure projects.
  • Lead the delivery of projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation and technical improvement, and lead projects to implement these changes.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of professional experience in civil engineering, with a minimum qualification of a Bachelor's degree in engineering - Civil.
  • Design experience in roads, stormwater drainage, and other infrastructure projects.
  • Excellent skills in 3D design software, including Civil 3D, Civil Site Design, and AutoCAD.
  • Understanding of stormwater design to WSUD guidelines, including MUSIC modelling.
  • Knowledge of Australian Standards, Austroads, and VicRoads standards for road and drainage design.
  • Ability to manage, train, and mentor engineers in the civil team.
