Salary

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary commensurate with their experience and qualifications, which is estimated to be around $90,000 - $110,000 per annum.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced School Psychologist and/or Counsellor to work across all year levels in the College as our new Head of Student Wellbeing. The position is full-time and commences January 2025.

The ideal candidate will have tertiary qualifications in either Psychology or Counselling and demonstrated experience working positively to support emotional wellbeing and the mental health needs of students in an educational setting.

A working understanding of trauma-informed education and experience working with people from diverse cultural backgrounds will be beneficial in this role.

A sound understanding of child protection legislation and guidelines as applied to schools, and the ability to work in a school team are essential criteria.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualifications in Psychology or Counselling
  • Demonstrated experience working in an educational setting
