About Us:

Christway College Kingston is an independent, Christian co-educational school for students from Prep to Year 12. We are committed to promoting and protecting the interests and safety of children.

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced School Psychologist and/or Counsellor as our new Student Wellbeing Director to work across all year levels in the College. The position is full-time, with a salary negotiable in accordance with experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities:
  • Support emotional wellbeing and the mental health needs of students in an educational setting.
  • Have a working understanding of trauma informed education and experience working with people from diverse cultural backgrounds.
  • A sound understanding of child protection legislation and guidelines as applied to schools, and the ability to work in a school team.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications in either Psychology or Counselling.
  • Demonstrated experience working positively to support emotional wellbeing and the mental health needs of students in an educational setting.
  • Ability to perform responsibilities in a manner which reflects the College's mission.
