Head of Student Wellbeing

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate educator to join our team as a Head of House at O'Loughlin Catholic College - Karama. As a key member of our middle leadership team, you will play a vital role in supporting the wellbeing, pastoral care, and academic performance of students within your assigned house.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain strong relationships with students, families, and staff to ensure a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- Work collaboratively with the Leader of Wellbeing for Learning and Personal Development Leaders to create opportunities for academic, social, emotional, and spiritual growth for students.
- Monitor student attendance and participation in co-curricular activities, and meet with parents and carers to discuss wellbeing and learning.
- Support Learning Diversity Leaders and Subject Teachers in addressing the academic, social, emotional, and spiritual needs of students.
- Develop a strong academic and learning culture within the House group, and keep staff informed of pertinent decisions or information affecting students.
- Collaborate with other Heads of House and the Leader of Inclusion Support to address student matters and develop strategies for student growth and development.
- Qualifications of a four-year trained teacher
- TRB Accreditation
- Current NT Ochre Card - Working With Children Check (WWCC)
- Desired Qualifications: Master level or commitment to enrol in further education, Accreditation to teach in a Catholic school
