Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a vessel master with less than 45 meters of experience to join our operations in South-East Queensland.

Based out of Cleveland and Redland Bay, this position requires energy, motivation, enthusiasm, and flexibility to meet operational demands.

As a master, you will be responsible for the daily efficient operation of your vessel while maintaining excellence in safety, leadership, customer service, and reliability.

You will ensure the safe and secure operation and navigation of the vessel, and the health and safety of all passengers and crew on board.

In addition, you will maintain compliance with all relevant laws, company policies, and procedures, and implement and verify the vessel's Safety Management System.

This is an opportunity for a dedicated and strong leader with high standards of interpersonal and organizational skills, adept written and verbal communication skills, and proven safe ship handling experience.

  • Proven achievement of excellence in customer service.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Be available to work a seven-day a week operation including public holidays and weekends.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master < 45m (Certificate of Competency).
  • MED 3 or higher.
  • Demonstrated Leadership skills.
  • Senior First Aid and CPR.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • PEC for Moreton Bay - Highly desirable.
