Turners Engineering seeks a financial leader to manage day-to-day transactions, reporting, and compliance for its multifaceted business.

The successful candidate will oversee financial statements and management reports accuracy, ensuring compliance with Australian accounting standards and tax legislation. They will assist with cash flow, working capital, and treasury management, collaborate with stakeholders to improve financial processes, and support the COO with financial data for board presentations and efficiency improvements.

  • Degree in accounting, finance, or related field; CPA/CA preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in senior accounting or financial management; experience in mining/civil contracting preferred.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical, and reporting skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

We are seeking an individual who can work strategically and operationally in a fast-paced environment with an inquisitive mindset. They must be able to analyze complex financial data and provide insightful recommendations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial regulations and laws, as well as excellent problem-solving skills.
