Workplace Rehabilitation Specialist Opportunity

This position offers a chance to deliver holistic, client-centered services within workplace rehabilitation. Using clinical knowledge and an allied health background, you will be an integral part of assisting injured workers to recover at work and achieve independence in various settings.

Day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Workplace rehabilitation services aligned with your scope of practice, encompassing:
  • Initial Needs Assessments to identify individual requirements
  • Workplace Assessments to optimize job performance
  • Advice concerning job modifications to promote safe working conditions
  • Rehabilitation Counselling/Vocational Assessments to support career development
  • ADL assessments to evaluate daily living skills
  • Medical case conferences, stakeholder liaison, and case management services to ensure comprehensive support
  • Support needs assessments to identify resource requirements
Key Requirements
  • Full registration with relevant professional bodies (e.g., AHPRA/ASORC/ESSA)
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and time management skills to effectively engage stakeholders
  • A self-motivated individual with a proactive attitude, taking pride in delivering high-quality services
  • Ability to complete a satisfactory Working with Children Check and Police Clearance
  • Current Australian driver's license and vehicle for travel
  • Willingness to learn and positively impact people's lives through tangible outcomes
  • The ability to engage clients and stakeholders in the wellness and work journey
