Job Title: Cybersecurity Director

Melbourne (Hybrid - Remote with on-site as required)

We are seeking an experienced security leader to develop and mature our internal security operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily information security activities and lead security teams
  • Improve security controls aligned with industry frameworks such as NIST CSF, CIS Controls, and the Essential Eight
  • Provide assurance across enterprise transformation projects and coordinate incident response activities
  • Assess third-party risks and vendor due diligence
  • Maintain comprehensive security documentation including policies, procedures, and risk registers
  • Support awareness initiatives and access governance processes
  • Liaise with stakeholders across Technology, Risk, Compliance, and Executive
  • Prepare and present security reports to senior leadership and governance forums
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years in information security or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of industry frameworks: NIST CSF, ISO 27001, Essential Eight
  • Experience managing operational security functions and contributing to strategic projects
  • Familiarity with compliance standards: APRA CPS 234 or similar
  • Demonstrated capability in risk assessment, stakeholder engagement, and communication
