Job Role:

Sheet Metal Fabricator

We are seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Fabricator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a trade certificate in sheet metal work and at least three years of relevant experience.

  • Design, fabricate, assemble, and install sheet metal products, including HVAC ducting, cladding, piping, and tubing.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Operate various tools and equipment, such as bench top tools, hand tools, and machine tools.
  • Perform welding tasks using TIG/MIG and stick weld techniques.
  • Pour polyurethane foam insulation for pipework cladding.
  • Use computer-aided design software to create designs and models.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure accurate site measures and meet project deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

Essential Skills
  • Trade certificate in sheet metal work.
  • At least three years of relevant experience.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Basic computer literacy and proficiency in CAD software.
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English language.

Desirable Skills:

  • Understanding of SMACNA standards related to ductwork manufacture.
  • Experience with balometer for air balancing and pressure testing.
