Sheet Metal Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Specialist to join our team in Darwin, Australia.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a Sheet Metal Specialist to design and fabricate sheet metal products such as HVAC ducting, cladding, piping, and tubing.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Create high-quality sheet metal products including HVAC ducting, cladding, piping, and tubing.
  2. Read technical drawings and utilize bench top tools and equipment.
  3. Operate hand tools and machine tools for ductwork manufacture.
  4. Weld stainless steel ductwork (TIG/MIG) and stick weld metal (light fabrication).
  5. Pour polyurethane foam insulation for pipework cladding.
Requirements:
  1. A minimum of three years' experience in a relevant trade.
  2. Mandatory possession of a trade certificate.
  3. Proficient in reading, writing, and understanding English.

Additional advantageous skills include using the balometer for air balancing and comprehension of SMACNA standards related to ductwork manufacture.
