A seasoned Sheet Metal Fabricator is required to design and manufacture sheet metal products in Darwin, Australia.

About the Role:
  1. Design and fabricate various sheetmetal items such as ducting, cladding, piping, and tubing.
  2. Utilize a range of tools including bench top equipment, hand tools, and machine tools for manufacturing ductwork.
  3. Perform welding tasks using TIG/MIG and stick welding techniques for light fabrication.
  4. Pour polyurethane foam insulation for pipework cladding.
  5. Conduct site measurements and obtain necessary clearances.
Detailed Requirements:
  • Minimum three years of relevant experience in sheet metal fabrication.
  • A trade certificate in a related field.
  • Excellent reading, writing, and comprehension skills in English.

Able to interpret technical drawings, design, and manufacture sheet metal products with minimal supervision. Experience with CNC Vulcan/Camduct and drafting packages is advantageous.
