Sheet Metal Fabricator

We seek a skilled professional to design and manufacture sheetmetal products, utilizing expertise in fabrication and installation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and fabricate sheet metal products, including HVAC ducting, cladding, piping, and tubing.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, using bench top tools and equipment to manufacture components.
  • Operate machine tools for ductwork manufacture, including welding stainless steel ductwork (TIG/MIG) and stick welding metal (light fabrication).
  • Utilize CNC Vulcan/Camduct for ductwork entry into the computer and draft package software.
  • Take site measures and ensure accurate installations.
Requirements
  • At least three years of relevant experience in sheet metal fabrication and installation.
  • Trade certificate in a related field.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English.
Advantageous Skills
  • Using a balometer for air balancing.
  • Understanding SMACNA standards related to ductwork manufacture.

Acet-Migration requires: A police clearance/defence clearance, basic computer literacy skills, and the ability to pour polyurethane foam insulation for pipework cladding.
