Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with setting up the operating theatre with required equipment
  • Position patients for surgery and transfer them safely
  • Clean and disinfect contaminated equipment and other used items
  • Perform general housekeeping duties such as cleaning beds, organizing linen, restocking equipment, and waste management

About You:

">
  • Be an active team member supporting all work tasks
  • Commit to ongoing service excellence
  • Ability to prioritize and organize work with minimal supervision
  • Available for a 24/7 roster
  • Hold a Certificate III in Health Care Support (Operating Theatre Practice) or Certificate III in Health Services Assistance
  • Minimum of two years previous experience in an Operating Theatre Assistant role is highly desirable
