Proactive Cyber Risk Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to manage and mitigate security risks across our organization. This permanent opportunity involves providing expert knowledge to implement proactive identification, assessment, and mitigation strategies.
Key Responsibilities:- Security Risk Assessment: Identify, assess, and manage potential threats to our organization's assets.
- Vulnerability Management: Coordinate the vulnerability management process and conduct regular meetings with stakeholders.
- Risk Analysis & Mitigation: Conducting security audits to ensure adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Threat Monitoring & Detection: Continuously monitoring networks and systems for vulnerabilities and potential cyber threats.
- Incident Response & Recovery: Analyzing security alerts, investigating breaches, and implementing remediation strategies.
- Collaboration & Training: Collaborating with product vendors, engineering teams, and other key stakeholders to determine improvement opportunities.
- Compliance & Governance: Ensuring adherence to industry regulations and cybersecurity best practices.
- A tertiary qualification in a relevant field (or equivalent experience).
- Vendor-related certifications are beneficial but not essential.
- 4-5 years or more of experience in security related roles; experience in financial services is advantageous.
- Familiarity with cloud security, compliance frameworks, NIST/ISO standards, and regulatory requirements.
