About the Role
  • Deliver high-level legal guidance on strategic risk oversight for major research partnerships, global agreements and IP strategies.
  • Motivate and direct strategic legal projects aligned with R&E goals and oversee a team of senior legal experts and external consultants.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, monitoring and interpreting regulatory developments to support compliance and innovation efforts.
Requirements
  • 15 years' post-admission experience in a legal practice setting, with a current legal practising certificate.
  • Deep expertise in higher education and research, intellectual property law.
  • Exceptional negotiation, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
  • A proven ability to progress matters and lead teams in high-pressure, high-volume environments.
