Job Overview

A seasoned legal leader is sought to head a team of experienced lawyers at a major health services provider. This role involves delivering high-quality, commercially focused legal services across health services, consumer, corporate and commercial laws.

As a strategic legal leader, you will be responsible for managing a team and delivering legal services with purpose and innovation. You will foster a culture of empowerment and accountability, driving transformation in legal service delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team in delivering high-quality legal services
  • Manage complex legal risks and collaborate with senior stakeholders
  • Influence change initiatives and develop innovative solutions
  • Deliver strategic legal advice to senior executives
Requirements
  • 12+ years post-degree experience, including leadership roles in top-tier law firms or large in-house legal teams
  • Deep expertise in health services, consumer, corporate and commercial laws, and contracting
  • A current Australian practising certificate and a strong track record of delivering strategic legal advice
  • Excellent judgment, collaboration skills, and ability to lead through change
