About The Role
  • You will lead a skilled mobile maintenance team, performing servicing, repair, and maintenance of equipment as directed by managers and supervisors.
  • Source technical information from reference manuals, technical bulletins, and computer-based systems to complete tasks efficiently.
  • Provide technical guidance to staff and operations personnel to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Verify the implementation of solutions and address non-conforming machinery until resolution is achieved.
About You
  • A Certificate III in Heavy Diesel Fitting or equivalent is required for this position.
  • At least 5 years of mining experience with exposure to leading or supervising mobile maintenance HD Fitters is necessary.
  • A positive leadership style with strong time-management skills and the ability to pivot around priorities is essential.
  • Experience in planning servicing, repair, and preventative maintenance of heavy mobile mining equipment is highly valued.
  • A commitment to health and safety policies and procedures is mandatory.
  • Ability to ensure all required paperwork is completed to a high standard by tradespeople is crucial.
  • Proactive approach to ensuring quality work is expected.
  • High Risk Work Licences such as WP, LF, and Rigging are advantageous but not essential.
